Material Signals collects only what is needed to operate the founding cohort and measure whether the product is useful.
What we collect
The public briefing form stores your email address, coverage preference, signup source and signup time. Anonymous checkout-start events store an event name, page source and time. Our payment processor separately handles payment details and receipts; Material Signals does not store full card numbers.
How it is used
We use this information to send requested product updates, administer founding access, provide support, prevent abuse and evaluate aggregate conversion. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Retention and choices
We retain founding-customer records for service, refund, accounting and legal requirements. Unsubscribed briefing records are removed from active delivery and deleted when no longer reasonably required. Request access, correction or deletion at hello@materialsignals.com. Every marketing email will include an unsubscribe method.
Processors and international access
Website hosting, email delivery and payment processing may involve service providers operating outside your province or country. Those providers process information under their own security and privacy commitments. We disclose information when required by law or to protect the service from fraud and abuse.
